Executive Coaching

To Measure Is To Know

The success of good coaching may be evaluated both by objective criteria and by the client’s individual assessments.  Business success depends upon a range of qualities that may be classified as both an art and a science.  However, if improvements are genuine, then they should be capable of being assessed objectively, rather than merely based upon assertion.

My own research team made significant contributions to the scientific understanding of occupational stressors, by revealing the capacity of interpersonal relationships to influence health and even productivity.

My approach to executive coaching derives from three domains: the empirical rigour of cognitive behavioural therapy; the new insights from evolutionary psychology, with parallels to economic systems; and the experience of an entrepreneurial academic.  Fundamentally, it is psychological insights, allied to the scientific perspectives of objectivity and measurement, that form the basis of an effective approach to executive coaching.

I offer individually tailored executive coaching programmes for managers and executives who wish to enhance their business effectiveness.  Sessions can be offered face to face, by telephone, or via web-cam.  Prospective clients should feel free to contact me for an initial discussion of their requirements.
