Research in human sciences both broadens and deepens our understanding of human nature; it also forms the basis of substantive improvements in clinical practice.
In our team at Buckinghamshire New University there are currently some 4 research students and 3 fellow lecturers. In addition I greatly value our collaborative research programs with colleagues in other universities.
Our strengths lie in generating original ideas for psychological
research and in designing and conducting rigorous empirical
studies.

My team and I have been successful in securing a number of grants to
support our research from various of institutions.
We welcome applications from good prospective graduate students and
requests for collaborative research from other
laboratories.
My research interests in psychology divide into two main themes: occupational health psychology and evolutionary psychology.
